About us:

Watertite Guttering (Pty) Ltd was established in 1973, starting of with three branches – Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.  Watertite was the first company in South Africa to introduce seamless aluminium guttering to the market.  In 1990 the Durban and Johannesburg branches were sold and in 1998 the Cape Town branch opened the George branch and in 2003 the Port Elizabeth branch.  We are currently running 15 installation teams consisting of a foreman and 4 labourers each.  The MD, Nelia Jansen, has been with the Company for 31 years, our George Manager, David Scheun has been with the group for 24 years and the PE manager Eric Gildenhuys for 3 years.

Watertite is very well known with architects, quantity surveyors, builders, engineers etc for our professional service and after sales service.  We specialize in the supply and installation of seamless aluminium gutters and aluminium downpipes.  We are one of only a few Hulletts approved contractors in the country and offer a 15 year maintenance free guarantee to our customers.

Watertite Guttering has extensive experience in the design, fabrication and installation of domestic and industrial gutter. From houses of all sizes, small and medium sized malls, warehouses and large scale factories you can trust Watertite to get it right, every time. Our on-site extrusion of pre-painted, double coated Polymer Silicon baked enamel industrial gutters with a standard 15 year guarantee against rust, corrosion, peeling and flaking ensures long term peace of mind. Our extruded seamless Aluminium gutters are fabricated on-site in made-to-measure lengths thereby eliminating leaks and rust spots. 

 

How its done:

All our gutters are extruded on site, using one of our mobile factories.  The gutters are extruded in continuous length, thus eliminating joins and therefore leaks.  The aluminium is coated with a double coat of Polymer silicone enamel, baked on in high temperature ovens so that the paint becomes annealed to the aluminium.  The product is guaranteed against rust, corrosion, peeling and flaking of paint.
